- Bosnia & Herzegovina will select their representative on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 at 6th March 2005 during a national final of the BH Eurosong 2005 competition. A maximum of 15 songs will take part on the final, the jury and televoting will be used to select winner. - Marian van de Wal (female singer from Netherlands), the representative of Andorra on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, will perform three songs - La mirada interior, Dona’m la pau and No demanis - on 22 January, 2005. A combination of a professional jury and SMS voting will decide which song will be performed at Kiev. Website eurovision-spain.com informs about it.

- Ukrainian vodka company Nemiroff - the international sponsor of the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 - has started the Internet-project giving the operative information on preparation and holding of the European songs festival “ Eurovision - 2005 ” at Kiev. - The name of the representative of Andorra on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 is declared. It is Marian van de Wal, the 34-years old female singer from Netherlands. On December, 18, 2004 Marian has became the winner of Andorrian national selection competition Eurocàsting.

- Icelandic broadcaster RUV has decided that national final in order to select their representative on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 will not hold. Instead, one artist will be appointed by RUV Management. The website esctoday.com informs about it.

- Special internal jury composed of the critics and analysts of the Polish music market will choose the Polish representative on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 at Kiev. The name of the representative will be declared at the end of January, 2005. Besides it is informed, that both the Grand-Final and the Qualifier Round of the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 will be broadcast at Poland.
- The Austrian Alf Poier will take part in the Austrian national final with two songs - Good old Europe is dying and Hotel hotel. National final will take place on 25th February and will consist of five artists (with Poier), each participant will performing two songs.

- Reception of applications for participation on national selection competition is completed at Estonia. 92 applications has been sent, but 5 has been rejected. The jury will select 10 best from all sent applications, these 10 applications will take part on the final of competition. The final will be hosted on February, 9, 2005. The winner of the final will represent Estonia on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 at Kiev.

- OGAE Germany informs, that Czech Republic is going to refuse participation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. However nor Czech Republic, nor EBU has not officially confirmed it till now.
- 64 applications has been sent for participation on national selection competition at Latvia. The professional jury has selected 20 best which will take part at semifinals of competition on January, 29 and on February, 5, 2005. The final of competition will be hosted on February, 26 at Ventspills. The winner of national competition will represent Latvia on the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 at Kiev.
