- Site esctoday.com informs that Ukrainian broadcaster NTU has some problems with their national selections. The matter is that some of the ten semifinal winner songs has been commercially released or publicly performed before 1st October 2004, thus, according to ESC Rules, these songs can't take part at the Eurovision Song Contest. The spokeswoman of NTU says that it's happens because Ukraine will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time and is unexperienced with national selections since NTU internally selected their representatives at 2003 and 2004. NTU is currently negotiating the possibility that semifinal winners breaking the 1st October rule can already perform a new song in the Ukrainian national final.
