Final of the 48-th Eurovision Song Contest 2003
 Several minutes ago one of the brightest events ever organized in Latvia last years - Eurovision Song Contest has ended. Approximately 6000 spectators in a place of hosting watched show together with more than 100 million persons in 42 countries, observing competition in alive translation from Skonto - Hall in the their houses. The concert, began equally at 23:00 on local time, and in the Hall there was no empty seat as all tickets on the final concert have been sold out by weeks earlier. Actually each nation participating in competition, has been submitted in the Hall.
 Activity of an audience was obvious since the very first minutes of a concert, and actually to each participant roughly applauded. However, Turkish singer Sertab Erener who, according to the latest news, has won this year Eurovision Song Contest, has received the most enthusiastic applause.
One of the most risk moments during display was occurrence on a stage of scandalous Russian duet Tatu. Many expected surprises due to singers have not executed the song from the beginning up to the end never during all rehearsals so went big amount of hearings about possible provocations during final performance. Singers were in jeans and white T-shirts, suggesting number 1, however any true provocations at a duet were not.
Before the exit on a stage of Latvian trio F.L.Y. the hall has awarded musicians rough and a prolonged applause. It was surprising, how many spectators welcomed the Latvian musicians.
 Undoubtedly, one of the most emotional instants of these nights were those five minutes during which lines of voting worked, and the announcement of results in alive translation from 26 participating countries. The audience has not showed the slightest understanding of the Latvian televoting according to which 12 points from Latvia have left Russia. (I personally, by the way, too have not showed the slightest understanding of it. When I was in Latvia, it seemed to me, that local natives possess fine art taste. And Russian there now not especially like... However, we and could not be loved especially. By and large, we can drink vodka, and at night songs under a window to shout... Well, and sometimes to show Terrible Mother of Kusima to all world... ;-) - a comment of the web-master.). Nevertheless, as a whole, spectators reacted very roughly each time when 12 points were awarded to any of participants.
